Kelly Fox

Kelly joined Frontier as President in June 2019 and became the Senior Vice President of Kodiak’s General Lumber sector in January 2022.

“Kodiak provides the tools and resources to be an entrepreneur in the business and chase opportunity.”

Before joining the Kodiak family, Kelly served as the CEO and Trustee for Lumber Traders, INC., an ESOP located in Port Angeles, WA. He joined LTI in September 2013 after working for Dunn Lumber in the Seattle area for 13 years in various roles. Kelly also currently sits on the Executive Board for the Western Building Materials Association and the Building Industry Association of Washington and previously served as a State Director with Skagit Island Counties Builders Association. Outside of the building materials business, he sits on the Advisory Board for Bellevue College’s Customer Experience program presented by Tombolo Institute.

Kelly grew up in leadership roles from an early age in the Boy Scouts of America, and since then most of his professional life has been geared toward helping others in any capacity at the lumberyard and beyond. He got his start in the industry by taking a part-time job for his soon-to-be father-in-law and found out very quickly that he wanted to make a career of it. When the company was sold to Dunn Lumber, Kelly stayed on and grew from a yard stocker to a store manager within two years.

Kelly earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on Small Business and Entrepreneurship from DeVry University in 2014 while working and raising his family. In 2015, he furthered his education with a Master’s Degree from the Executive MBA program at Washington State University in 2017.
